earth-the great proliferation

Before inhabiting Adama 5 humanity lived on earth. The constant wars that plagued the planet eventually lead to a nuclear showdown between world powers. This left high doses of radiation that would begin to push humanity towards new stages of evolution.

In the fallout humanity came together to escape the poisoned sphere, creating absolutely massive ships and draining the planet of most of its resources in the process. These ships were capable of holding millions of passengers on a sustained journey lightyears away.

One of these ships was the Hope’s Dawn, a carrier sent to the andromeda galaxy in hopes of finding a habitable planet.
